Similar to our Guatemalan Antigua Los Volcanes variety, the Colombian Huila Pink Bourbon is a 100% bourbon coffee - an arabica varietal. While the fruit, or cherry, of most coffee plants is red, yellow or orange, this variety from the Huila coffee region is a bright pink color. Huila is situated in the Andean mountain region and benefits from the lava-rich soil generated from Nevado de Huila, the tallest volcano in Colombia.
Your cup will have a medium acidity and will have notes of grapefruit and tart cherry with a hint of lavender.
